Achieving Maximum Compression
Need the smallest possible file size? This tutorial will show you how to achieve maximum compression.
- Lower the Quality: The most effective way to reduce file size is to lower the quality setting. Try a value between 50 and 70 for a good balance.
- Choose the Right Format: For most images, the WebP format will provide the best compression. If you need transparency, use PNG.
- Resize the Image: Reducing the dimensions of your image will have a significant impact on file size. If the image is for the web, you probably don't need it to be larger than 1920px wide.
- Remove Metadata: Make sure the "Remove metadata" option is checked. This will strip any extra data from the image, making it smaller.
Using the AI Features
Our AI can help you get the best results with minimal effort. Here's how to use it:
- AI Optimize Button: This is the easiest way to use the AI. Simply click the "AI Optimize" button, and the application will choose the best settings for your images.
- AI Decides Format: In the "Output Format" dropdown, select "AI Decides". The application will then choose the best format for each image, based on its content.
